Back came off

Removed the top, showing the gears

Potentiometer removed from case, washer and nut from potentiometer

Back side of the board with the resistors leads coming through the holes where the potentiometer attached - this leads are trimmed afterwards

New resistors to replace the potentiometer - now the circuit always will always think the shaft is at 180 degrees
